Leavin' Las Vegas

This was our last day. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that we would be attending precious Carlie's(Brandon's girlfriend) baptism. Brandon (our nephew) was able to baptize her. Then we all got to go out to breakfast. Our last hurrah took place at Red Rock.

Brandon and Carlie. This trip was perfect, it was fun, filled with love, and spiritually uplifting.

L to R-Roc,Lizzy,Gabriel,Noah,Angel,Kela,Frankie,Brandon. We really miss seeing these guys!

Frankie dressed Roc for the baptism. He looks more put together than he's ever been!

What a Fruit Loop!

Sexy man! This would be the perfect Facebook pic.

Lizzy and Marina-"I'm gonna choke someone if we don't eat soon!". We waited a long time to get in this restaurant for brunch. Our group is always too big.

Hoodlum...trying to figure out what we are going to do at Red Rock. I didn't realize we were actually supposed to do serious hiking here. I thought it was a pretty place to look at and take pics, like the painted desert! Consequently, we ended up losing half of our crew.

We ditched this hiking area for the kiddie one. Next time, next time.

Look how daring me and Carlie are crossing this dangerous stream!

Roc was eating sunflower seeds the whole time. You'll see that bag again.

Little known fact about me-waterfalls are one of my favorite things. One of my dreams is to go see Iguacu in Brazil.

Where are you going?! He's showing us who's boss.

Chillaxin' on this random bench that was laying on the ground.
Whew! THE END!!!!

Vegas-Day 4

As I said we were starting to fizzle out. We decided to go see the Hoover Dam. I could not coax my hubby away from the Wii this time. So, again it was just the girls. But, we had a lot of fun. Of course! After our tour here, we just hung out at Marina's and cooked dinner for everyone.

Lizzy and I in the tunnel. We managed to turn a boring tour into something fun with our shinanigans?.

Trying to do a mock rock climb. Lizzy says I look like I'm loving on the rock!

Me and Marina were a bunch of wooses at the dam. Having kids has made me weak! I could feel my nerves going crazy because this dam is so high up!
I know we joked around a lot. However, I have to say that I can appreciate why this is one of the wonders of the world. The design of this dam back in the day is genius! If you ever go, invest in seeing the movie. The tools that they used were so simple for something so massive!

Look at the new bridge they are building...who wants to drive over that?! Lizzy kept joking with us about going over the edge. I thought Marina was going to punch her! Hah!

Lizzy and I in the Dam Store!! We are in Vegas, baby. : )

Just hanging out! We had to lift each other up to be able to reach this man's rope.

Vegas-Day 3

Ok, WoW! We certainly did pack a lot into this day. Apparently, I need help on uploading pics. Because I ended up putting them in the opposite of chronilogical order. Rocco and I started our day by walking the strip. We went to the M&M store and a few others lookin' for souvenirs. We rode the double decker buses around some, until we ended up at celebrity chef: Bobby Flay's restaurant. We then met up with our crew to catch a comedy/magic show. Following, we ate at a huge buffet(a must). To gear us up for: THE GIRLS-drag show...THE BOYS-hypnotist show. But, the girls picked up Paris before indulging in "the show". We met back up for the last water show of the night at the Bellagio! No wonder we were draggin'!!

I got freaked out here, b/c we were standing on the ledge of the Bellagio pool when the fountains came on. : )

These were some terrorists that we picked up. The volunteered to take our picture, but then they wanted to jump in. Why not? We're in Vegas baby...and it's girls night out!

Me and Lizard standing on a lamp post in "Paris". I wish I could put more pics up. But, there's just too many good ones.

Rocco tearin' up some crab legs at the buffet. I think all this running around started to hit me at the buffet. From this point to the rest of the trip, I had to keep giving myself a pep talk that I could rest when I got home.

This was our posse' for the day. Roc, Ang, Marina, Lizzy, Brandon, and Carlie

It was required to get drinks at the magic show, so we all went for virgin daquari's (we think). By the way, we got in trouble for taking pics here.

In the lobby waiting for the show. It was actually hilarious! I've got to get the pic from that from Marina to show y'all.

Roc trying not to be seen with the purse. Don't think he did himself any favors!

My tastay, tastay food at Mesa Grill. Mmmm, makes my mouth water. Love my food!

This is one happy man! This was a must eat place on our list. We made it!

This tunnel was painted really well, because when you went through it, you came out feeling sick.

This was only a fourth of the M&M's on this wall. It was like a kids wonderland.

Vegas Day 2- Part Deux

Went back to post more, and found that I didn't post everything. Can I just say that eventhough we didn't do everything that we wanted to...we were going non-stop! It was exhasting, but sooo much fun. Anyways, this night we went to see a Cirque du Soleil show called Mystere. Then we moved on to the Venitian to get some gelato!
This was Roc and I infront of a massive waterfall within the Venitian.

This was around Chinese New Year. It is the year of the tiger. Everywhere we went, the hotels had the same theme. This night was special, b/c it was the night that we got to spend time with Frank.

Rocco and Frankie talking it up. Frankie is such a good guy, I'm sure everyone that knows him would agree. :)

Me and Lizzy in front of the gondola ride. This guy was singing opera.

Mmmm, eating our gelato. I got hazelnut, I'm so upsessed with hazelnuts!

Ordering our gelato. You can see the scene of the Venitian behind us.

What do you do when there's time to waste before the show? Take self portraits of course!

Mystere ticket! Thanks to Frank for the hook-up.

Say cheese!

Day 2-Hats off!

These are in no particular order to our days schedule. I'm too lazy to organize them.

These two (top and bottom) are of Rocco and I first seeing Kela. Seeing this beautiful girl was one of the top things that we were looking forward to. It was everything we remembered of her. :) Kela is hillarious, she has learned some new tricks since we last saw her. She is now an expert faker!

A pit stop at A&W. Is that good Roc?!

The next series of pics are from the Vegas temple. We took sooo many pics here; no wonder we were there so long

Me and Lizzy being goofy! We always have a good time when we get together. We were comparing how dry our skin was from the desert air.

There are some really cool spots around where you stand in the middle of a circle and you can hear your voice echo. It was so neat!

When we arrived at Marina's that morning, we were expecting to go tubing. So, I had to borrow some of Marina's clothes. She ended up dressing me and Lizzy up in scarves and hats. This pic is symbolic of us being her puppets. Funny thing is when we were taking pics at the temple, Roc kept telling me that he didn't like the SCARF! I was like: What about the hat??

These 2 pics are of me trying to play Wii tennis and win so that we could get Roc to get off of the Wii, so we could leave. Above it looks like I'm doing a victory dance...I don't know why!

Like I said, in post #1-we like to jump on our nephews. This is Brandon, who gave us directions that morning. He was the only one that we could get on the phone that morning (eventhough he was in school). Pathetic! LoL
