Museum with Cousins

We had a lot of fun at the Museum with our +2.  It seemed best to keep everyone busy!
Amber and KateLyn's Shark Attack

I know they look like a bunch of demons...bc they are!

We spent about 30 minutes of our trip on climbing this tire! :)

Misc. Summer 2011

These are pictures of our stop in Louisiana.  We wanted to stop at the Louisiana Boardwalk on our way home from Texas.  You can tell it was HOT!  We brought back our neice and nephew (Kate Lyn and Levi).

Amber, Giana, KateLyn, Levi, Ethan, and Jonah

We were able to go blueberry picking this year.  We were able to freeze a lot more with more workers.  It's a hot job, but it definately saves a lot of $$.

Summer Tennis

FUN FACT-Rocco coached tennis 2 times this year.  He enabled the boys to play for free.  The first season, both boys were on his team.  The second season, they were split into different age groups.  Since Rocco was with Jonah, I was incharge of being with Ethan.  He looks like he could be good at it, if he sticks with it.

Strawberries and Birthdays(Apr.28,2011)

This year, our tradition of Strawberry picking was moved to a new location.  We weren't impressed and it's gotten expensive.  So, we took a short trip to keep with tradition and to get strawberries for Mimi's b-day party.
Giana with Aunt Tiffy...Yummy!
We decided to order Mexican food and to make a special drink.  For dessert I had the crazy idea to try out churro making.  They were delish!  And of course we got some good laughs out of the way the churros looked. LoL

Mimi and Pappy trying out our concoction.  It was a winner!
Mimi's present time with: Me(mirror), Summer, Ali, Amber,Jonah
The kitchen crew: Robert and Rocco in the background cranking out the fried dough. Tiffany shaking said dough with cinnamon and sugar. Me-messing around.
Below: This was a successful project.  Dip the churros in the strawberry sauce...Delish.

Girl Time-May 2011

Our family friend, Solia was going to Prom this year.  So, her Mom invited me over to help get ready for it.  I decided to take Amber along for the ride.  This is right up her ally!
She was too cute.  She ran and got her Caboodle of supplies to help.
We got to get a pic before she left.  This girl is gorg (inside and out)!  There was really nothing to do.  Don't you think Poly's are so beautiful with their dark skin and hair?!

Swimming-Summer2011

Thankfully, we were able to swim some this Summer.  The kids LOVE to swim.  They are all at an age now, that I can actually swim with them.  Aunt Delia invited us to the lake a few times and we took advantage of different friend's pools.
Pictured at the back of the jet ski is Jonah.  It is a poor picture, but it was his first time.  This boy is hooked on water sports.

Ethan playing it safe on the floor of the boat.

Amber is such a little fish.  She enjoyed being the "First Mate" to Delia.

Amber and Jonah tubing.  They couldn't get enough of it.  Jonah was being a tube hog.

We finally convinced Ethan to ride.  Deda promised to take it easy.  He is a little apprehensive sometimes.

Giana got to drive Uncle Will's boat some.  Look how tan Deda is compared to her! LoL

Here they are at a friends pool.  Ethan learned to do a beginners free style stroke this Summer.

Jonah, Ethan, Giana, and Amber they were swimming around the pool like a train.

Remember the time we cleaned a Grave Yard?!

Our Stake Service Day this year was at a Cemetary.  I have to say, I was a little torn the whole time we were out there.  I was always taught not to walk on people's graves.  But, this was basically impossible.  As you can see.  How do you clean it without stepping on it?!
Amber raking leaves with family friends.

Giana and Ethan wondering around.  It was hard to keep them busy doing work at this place.  Again, what to have them do?

Someone asked me to take a pic of how bad this place looked and wanted Giana in the pic.  Where does this girl get it from?!
All in all they enjoyed working and playing with friends.  And it was fun watching them working with the Bishop.

Fun Days in Dallas

This was our day to play in Dallas!  It was the day before we left Texas.  We wanted to go out with a BANG!  In the morning, the girls went to Sweet and Sassy.  It is a girlie salon in the Mall.  From there, we went shopping, had lunch, and played on a playground.

That afternoon, the boys (+Aunt Mary) went to Legoland!  They are all big into Legos right now.  They had a blast playing with the toys, getting new ideas, and shopping for new sets.  They also got to crawl in these giant bubbles, like a bunch of hamsters. :)

Amber getting her hair and make up done.  This lady is good, Ambers hair only came to her shoulders.  I didn't know they could do so much with her hair!  She was in heaven.

Amber and myself were filling up bottles of hair gel.  You could mix smells, colors, and glitter.  They loved that interactive part.

Giana-this girl is not shy at all.  She was talking it up to the stylist.  She is always like that, and she will tell you just what she's thinking.  Sometimes I get worried when she opens that mouth!

Of course, Aunt Mary had to have them pose like Charlie's Angels. Amber, KateLynn, and Giana

Me and my girls!  I guess Giana decided to be a pirate in this picture. LoL

Here we go!  Here are the boys at Legoland. Levi, Jonah, Hunter, and Ethan

Here's the whole crew-waiting for the 4D movie.  They loved this part.

Jonah and Rocco riding a ride...everything Lego!

Look at all of the boys rolling around.  That looks fun!  I see Ethan to the left.  I don't know if Jonah is in the back, or somewhere else.
