Uncle Rocco and Aunt Josephine

"Where's my sauce?!" Pop ordered Papa John's pizza for everyone who came over. Apparently Uncle Roc spilled the garlic butter on himself. We got some good laughs from that!

We had a great time playing games. We played the usual...Mexican train, the Pirates game, and greedy. Everyone kept commenting on how loud it was (even Wesley), to which we replied-"This is nothing"! Johnny, Rosemary, and Charlotte were there too in addition to the siblings. The kids got to play with some of their 2nd? cousins and they had a ball! We finally left around midnight.

Of course we had to take advantage of documenting this occasion. Who knows how many more we'll have. I was telling everyone at church how we have 6 living Rocco's.

YW Recognition

I would like to pay tribute to Miss Katherine Watts. She is my first YW to recieve her Young Woman's medallion. I'm so proud! It was a great night and I look forward to many more. Including one who is trying hard to finish so that she can date. : )

Everybody Was Kung Fu Fighting!

Well, last night we were able to take the kids to see Kung Fu Panda. It was a really cute movie. Apparently Giana didn't think so though! She was only convinced for about 20 minutes. She is all over the place now!

Update

Well, I'm glad to know that Lizzy and Marina appreciate my blog!!

On another note, my boys ended up w/ Strep, too! Along with pretty much everyone in our Ward! It has taken out atleast 15 people!
Tuesday, I was on my way to take the kids to the $1.50 movie when I realized I had a flat tire. Turns out that the movie started later that advertised. So, Erin talked me into packing all 8 of our kids into her Explorer (and 2 adults). Such a good mom. We were discussing if a cop pulled us, we'd say I got a flat tire and she came to get me. And, of course we just HAD to go to the movies. If he offered to follow us back to the car, we'd be introuble b/c my car was at my house.

Day four...Disney World

This was the day devoted to Disney World, and driving Home. What were we thinking?! Ethan says,"We had a great time". As we pulled into the park, I could feel my whole body aching as if I was sick. I decided to suck it up and hold out as long as possible. We were there for about 6 hours. Only 1 melt down with 4 kids...not bad! The boy's favorite ride was the Pirates of the Carribean. Our favorite ride was the Philharmonic 3D show. It was awesome. Amber didn't want to leave the theater. The kids only got one thing, and were very grateful for it. Anyways, after waiting outside with Gi for an hour. The others finally came out of the Buzz Light ride. At this point my eyes felt like they were gonna pop out of my head. You see, it was 100 deg. and I had a fever. So, we left, and for 7 hours I fought a fever. The next day the doctor told me I have strep throat. I continued to fight the fever for the next 2 days. At which point I took my boys to the doc and THEY have strep.
Don't ever go to DW in June! Btw- we only took 2 pictures there as a consequence.

I don't know what I'm doing...Day 2

We hit the water park at our hotel. Then we went to Downtown Disney, where we ate at the Rainforest Cafe we've heard so much about. And btw, after we left there Ethan said "Thanks for taking us to Disney World.". We could've saved $350!

Disney World here we come!

Ok, I'm going to try to do this by day, here goes...

Day 1: Our first stop was to Savannah, GA. We weren't even planning to go there, it was just a whim! We got to eat breakfast at an amazing place called 'Huey's'. It was on the river and we ate food New Orleans style. We soon learned that we were blessed in stopping here when Rocco realized our tire looked a little flat. We went to Firestone to fill 'er up, and he realized the stem was leaking. We got a new tire in 45 min. and were on our way. Imagine if we were on the interstate!

We pushed on to Orlando,FL where we went straight to "our temple". It was our first time back. It was really neat to be able to show it to our children. Hopefully someday we'll be able to go inside again. But wow, all that white in the middle of the day sure did hurt our eyes.
