Mother/Son Dance

Ethan's school decided to have a mother/son father/daughter dance for Valentines Day. I was so proud of Ethan, he went out there and immediately started dancing. He was actually the first one to get out there and get everyone started! We had a lot of fun.

This was Ethan and his BF, Cameron and a good friend Sebastian

I told you the boy always has his hands on his face. Some kind of a Sat. Night Fever move.

Uggh! Homework!

This boy hates homework. It is a struggle all the time. This was him during a session. However, he faked a smile before I could snap the pic. I also want to document the fact that the boy can't keep his hands off of his face!
I must say, when he's into it...it is awesome to watch that brain work. The poor kid has my thought processes.

"It's like...100"

The title of this post is contributed by Jonah. For about 2 years everything big to him was "like 100". That was his favorite number (it's now infinity). Apparently it is a big deal when Kindergardeners have been at school for 100 days. Both of my boys have celebrated it. They have 100 snacks, made a hat with 100 stickers, etc.

Humdrum

Does anyone ever get sick of the day in day out routine? I must say, it is really a sacrifice for me to be a stay at home mom. I mean don't get me wrong, I love my kids and a clean house. But, I do not thrive on being a home body. And, it's not like I don't have anything to do...Doing YW stuff keeps me pretty busy; and then there's everything else that goes along with having 4 little ones.

I'm just a busy body, and thrive on social interaction. But, when I'm at home all the time I find it hard to keep myself motivated.

Sincerely,
The Bored and The Beautiful

Fireworks on January 10th?

This is Anthony, he's got it MADE! Everyone pulled him around on the wagon all night

We really had a great time doing fireworks out at Pops. Grady had already bought them, but they had a new addition on New Years Eve. We were at the beach too. So, we delayed celebrating until now. We shot fireworks, ate food, played with the fire, and played games. I am proud to say that I won both games.

Free Friday's at the Zoo

All the kiddies...quick take the pic!

Jonah and Amber, if only they were more like this picture.

Jonah posing in the penguin cave. This is a big mile stone. The kids wouldn't set foot in there before, b/c they didn't understand that they wouldn't fall in!

Ethan with Giana, he loves to help her get around.

Welcome, 2009

Well, this past Monday we continued our tradition of making resolutions. We've been doing this since Ethan was 2 or 3. I think his first one was to stop sucking his thumb and Jonah's was to be potty trained. I just think it's cute. Everyone knows how much I love to purge so why should our lives be any different?! Obviously I'm not going to go into detail about what our resolves were. But, 2009 is all about getting our lives in the right order. Really focusing on the basics. I'm excited about this year and all it brings. I'm anticipating our 10th anniversary (and a get a way), the trek, Giana being potty trained, and getting out of debt. Here's to '09 being a great year!
